Samsung Galaxy S26+ 3C Certification: No Charging Boost Expected

Samsung Galaxy S26+ is getting ready for its launch. It is going to replace the Samsung Galaxy S25+. Samsung has not told us when it will be available yet.. We already know some things about it. The phone is listed on a website, in China that checks if phones meet standards. This website tells us about the phones charging capabilities. Some people thought that Samsung might come out with a Galaxy S26 Edge of the Samsung Galaxy S26+.. It looks like Samsung is going to keep the same types of phones. They will sell the Samsung Galaxy S26, the Samsung Galaxy S26+ and the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra at the time soon.

The charging specs are out now. They do not have any big upgrades. The charging specs of this thing are much the same, as before so do not expect to see anything new with the charging specs.

The Galaxy S26+ phone has a model number which’s SM-S9470. This Galaxy S26+ supports charging. It can charge at 45W. This means it can charge at 4.5A or 15.0V DC. The Galaxy S26+ is the same as the Galaxy S25+ when it comes to charging speed. So the Galaxy S26+ will not charge any faster, than the Galaxy S25+.

Remember when Samsung stopped putting chargers in the box with the Galaxy S21 phone? This happened in January 2021. Apple had just done the thing. You will still have to buy a charger for the Galaxy S26+.

The Samsung Galaxy S26+ has a charging speed than the basic Galaxy S26. People think the Galaxy S26 only charges at 25W. The Galaxy S26 Ultra got certified by 3C in December 2025. It came with a 60W charger. This means the Galaxy S26 series may have charging speeds for each phone. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is really fast when it comes to charging. This is different, from the other Galaxy S26 phones.

Battery, Performance, and Display Expectations

People are talking about the S26+. It seems that this phone will have a big 4,900mAh battery. This is the same as the model. The S26+ will be powered by a processor it could be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 or it could be the Samsung Exynos 2600 chipset. It depends on where you’re in the world. The S26+ was even seen on a website, in India the website is called BIS. It had the model number SM-S947B/DS. This means that the S26+ is getting ready to be sold around the world.

When it comes to the display you can expect a sharp 6.7-inch QHD panel. This panel has a 120Hz refresh rate. That means you will get smooth scrolling. The storage options are 256GB and 512GB. These options come with 12GB of RAM. The display is a 6.7-inch QHD panel. You will have plenty of storage and RAM for multitasking and gaming with a 6.7-inch QHD panel and 12GB of RAM.

Camera Setup and Launch Buzz

The camera on the S26+ is going to be really good. It has three cameras on the back: a 50- main camera, a 12-megapixel camera that can take wide pictures and a 10-megapixel camera that can zoom in really close with 3x optical zoom. The S26+ also has a 12-megapixel camera on the front for taking selfies and making video calls on Instagram and other places. The S26+ camera should be good enough, for your video calls and Instagram stories.

As for timing, leaks point to a possible unveiling on February 25, faster than usual for Samsung’s flagships. Earlier chatter about a Galaxy S26 Edge ditching the Plus seems off the table now.
