Apple is doing a lot of things in India. They are opening stores and offices. Apple just had the sales ever. Now they are going to open another store in Mumbai. There are also rumors that Apple will open an office, in Chennai. This means Apple thinks India is an important place for the company to grow. They want to have stores where people can buy things and also have offices where people can work behind the scenes. Apple is really focusing on India. That is why they are doing all these things.
Second Mumbai Apple Store on the Horizon
Tim Cook shared the news when Apple talked about how they did in the first part of 2026. He said Apple is going to open another store in Mumbai. This is happening after they just opened their store in India, which is called Apple Noida. This new store is in the Delhi area, at a big mall called the Delhi Mall of India in Sector 18.
The Noida spot is a place to get everything Apple. You can buy Apple products get accessories and even get help from a specialist one on one. They also have fun workshops called Today at Apple. You can get your Apple things fixed.
We do not know where the new Apple store in Mumbai will be or when it will open. People in charge did not say anything about the rumors that it will be at Oberoi Sky City Mall in Borivali.
Apple already has a store in Mumbai it is called Apple BKC. It opened in August 2023 at Jio World Drive, in Bandra Kurla Complex. The Apple BKC store has been very popular.
The timing is really good. Apple just had its December quarter ever in India. They made a lot money than they did before. Apple CEO Cook said that opening stores helped a lot. Apple CFO Kevan Parekh said that more people are using Apple devices now. The city of Mumbai is doing well so it makes sense for Apple to expand there. Apple is doing great in India and Apple wants to keep growing in India.
Chennai Corporate Office Lease in the Works
News9Live says that Apple is renting a space at DLF CyberCity IT Park in Porur, Chennai. The space is really big it is 20,000 sq ft. This will be Apples real office in the city. Until now Apple was mainly doing manufacturing work in Chennai. Now it seems Apple is doing more, than manufacturing in the city. Apple is. Changing in Chennai.
They call it a Global Capability Centre at DLF Downtown. This place will handle some important global operations. So why did they choose Chennai? The city has good infrastructure it is easy to get to the airport and they are even building metro lines. This makes Chennai a great choice for finding people and managing logistics in a place that is very important for information technology in India.
