Huawei is getting people really excited about the Mate 80 Pro. They just showed us what the global version looks like a few days before they tell us everything about it. If you want an Android phone this one is going to be great. It looks really good especially since it came out in China November. There is a video on X that shows the cool camera on the back of the phone. The Mate 80 Pro that people in countries get will look just like the one they have, in China with all the shiny parts and everything.
Global Design Highlights
Huaweis post is showing the Mate 80 Pro in a nice champagne-gold color, which they call Dawn Gold in China. The Mate 80 Pro has a circular camera on the back with XMAGE on it. The Mate 80 Pro also has a black ring around the camera that looks very fancy. There is a circle below the camera, on the Mate 80 Pro that adds a little something extra to the way the Mate 80 Pro looks. This phone is really cool because of the screen. The screen is 6.75 inches. It is a special kind of screen called LTPO AMOLED. It also has Kunlun Glass 2 to protect it. The phone has thin edges, around the screen and a small pill shaped cut out for the front camera and sensors. This makes the phone feel like an fancy phone. The bezel-less display is what makes this phone special. The 6.75-inch LTPO AMOLED display is really nice. It has Kunlun Glass 2 protection.
This thing has a tough rating the IP68 and IP69 rating so you do not have to worry about dust and water. The design of the phone is not just nice to look at the phone is made to last a time.
Power Under the Hood
The new phone is coming from China. It has the Kirin 9030 Pro chipset. This means the phone will work well for games and when you have a lot of things open at the same time. It also runs on HarmonyOS 6.0. The battery is really big at 5,500mAh. You can charge it with a wire at 100W or without a wire at 80W. It can even charge things with 18W reverse wired. The Kirin 9030 Pro chipset and HarmonyOS 6.0 will make sure everything runs smoothly.
The phone has a lot of cameras. There are four cameras on the back. The main camera is 50MP. It can change how much light gets in. The other cameras are 40MP for taking pictures 48MP, for taking close up pictures and one that helps with colors. The Kirin 9030 Pro chipset will help the cameras work too. The camera on the front of the phone takes selfies. It is really good. It is a 13MP camera that can even sense how deep things are, with 3D depth sensing. This means the 13MP front camera can take selfies that look very nice.
